skin care with GLOSSIER .

The amazing folks at Glossier sent me a very generous package that blew my mind away! Filled with skin care and makeup items try, I didn’t know where to begin. This post will focus on the skin care items, and stay tuned for the awesome makeup items.

If you haven’t heard of Glossier, its time to move out of the rock you’ve been living under. Glossier is a beauty movement that really embraces all needs and celebrates women of all sizes and color. Each product is gentle to the skin and really enhances your unique beauty. Glossier believes, “You give life to products-products don’t breathe life into you”.  How refreshing does that sound coming from a major brand!?

The Milky Jelly Cleanser.
This cleanser is so gentle to the skin and packed with awesome ingredients that leave your skin feeling soft and refreshed. There’s nothing I love more than coming home and washing my face after along day at work, wearing makeup. Even though this cleanser is great at taking off makeup, I use an oil based cleanser first to remove my makeup because I usually wear waterproof eyeliner. Once my makeup if off I wash my face again with this cleanser, followed by my rose Thayers toner and Glossier’s face cream. I swear my skin has never felt and looked better!

The Priming Moisturizer.
This face cream has taken over my nightly face lotion the second I tried it. I was a little hesitant when I saw the word “rich” because I have combination skin, so really thick creams make my face feel really oily. This one is definitely not like the others. After washing my face or applying a mask, this cream really is the cherry on top. My skin felt so smooth and supple, I can’t go to bed without it.

I was also sent TWO masks, that I honestly have a hard time choosing from when it’s mask day. I consider these masks the power duo, while one deep cleans, the other moisturizes.

The Moisturizing Moon Mask
Made with simple and natural ingredients such as licorice root, lemon, honey, aloe, shea butter, almond and soybean oils. I noticed a difference after my first use, my skin felt incredibly soft and seemed a little brighter. The next day, I received compliments from friends that my skin looked really good. Which made me feel great! I used to struggle with REALLY bad acne growing up, so to hear that my skin looks great is the best compliment I can receive.

The Mega Greens Galaxy Pack
Also made with simple and natural ingredients such as, leafy green phytonutrients, orange peel, creamy white clay, avocado oil & aloe. This mask is meant for when your skin really needs a deep clean. Everyone should own a green mask, and theres so many good ones out there. This one is definitely my favorite at the moment.

If you’re looking to add or change up your beauty regimen, run do walk to Glossier. Theres so many to choose from that can cater to your personal needs and wants. Just as a warning, it will be really really difficult to choose just one item.
