Welcome back to another Friday Favorites! Here is a list items that I am finding incredible use out of and highly recommend ✨
Living in San Francisco means “hella” picnics! Weekends are typically spent at Dolores Park, the beach, or Golden Gate Park. Eight year of throwing everything in backpacks have come to an end. My El Cholo’s Kids bag, in vintage yellow, is my only weekend bag! Incredibly sturdy, I can throw food, drinks, glasses, a blanket, portable speaker and more. I call it my Marry Poppins bag, you need it – we can bring it! ECK bags are made from recycled plastic, which means, no need to worry about damp grass, spilled drinks or stains.
It’s been a few months now of using The Ordinary and I am a true believer! My favorites are The Granactive Retinoid with 2% Squalene, AHA / BHA Peel, Niacinamide 10% with Zinc, and the Buffet Peptide Serum. My skin has changed for the better, you can learn more here.
My hair is naturally wavy and thick and thrives in dry/ warm weather. When in LA or anywhere with similar climate, I love how wavy my hair gets after a shower and how quickly it dries. Since there is typically moisture in the air in San Francisco my hair takes all day to dry and my waves do alright. Microfiber towels help soak up extra water and help my hair dry faster and my waves are less weighed down!
Ready for a shower game changer?? Korean body spa scrubs were trending at one point. Turns out most of these spas use these mitts! These exfoliating mitts take off so much dead skin, its incredible, leaving you feeling so fresh and so clean, clean! 😉 Just know that the mitts do shrink when they touch water, but they still work just fine.
Best way to preserve your favorite candle wax scents! I used to hate throwing away candles that had so much wax left because the wick burnt out too soon. Now I melt down the wax with boiling water, let it cool until solid and place it in the candle wax warmer. I haven’t had to buy new candles in months! I have a bunch of old ones waiting to be melted down.
