Superfoods Skincare With Plantifique

January 5, 2021Collaborations, lifestyle0

Plantifique transforms nutritious superfoods into revolutionary skincare products that feed your skin and deeply nourish your natural beauty. At Plantifique, all of the active plant extracts are specifically selected for their skin-loving properties. Each ingredient is carefully harvested and dried to preserve its purity, potency, and protective antioxidants. Plantifique embraces the Korean philosophy of meticulously caring for your skin to preserve and protect it naturally.

Plantifique was kind enough to send me over some fabulous products to try out and share with you all. After a few weeks of testing out the products, here is my honest review!

The Superfood Marine Clay Mask

First impressions are everything and right from the start I could tell that the mask was the real deal. With many new products, I tend to smell them first. The Marine Clay Mask smelled like a real clay mask with no added perfume scents. Next was a patch test on my inner arm – once there was no irritation I gave it a go. The mask comes with a great little applicator brush that looks like a paintbrush. Applying the mask with this brush made the whole application very soothing. As the mask dries, it does not tighten the skin too tight, which also felt nice. Washing the clay off was easy and my skin felt really soft after.

What’s in the Mask?

The Superfood Marine Clay Mask is packed with avocado, aloe vera, spirulina, and spinach. All these ingredients aiding in hydrating and soothing the skin. Like any great clay mask, it pulled impurities to the surface, making my skin all that much more clearer.

The Eyelash Growth Serum

The second product that was sent to me was the Eyelash Growth Serum. Packed with castor oil, peptides and superfoods. There are thousands of incredible results and reviews online and for whatever reason, my eyes didn’t like the serum. I tried applying the serum before or after certain face products and also on a bare face. Sadly, nothing seemed to really work. The growth many customers have had is incredible, so if you are interested in giving it a go, go for it! You might have a different experience than I had.

•••

Overall I am super happy with the clay mask and wish the eyelash serum worked for me. I have had some breakouts around my chin area from wearing masks, so anything that can soothe my skin while taking care of problem areas, is a keeper on my shelf! You can check more products at https://www.plantifique.com/

Thank you to the Plantifique team for this wonderful collaboration!

If you’re looking to get one too (which I highly recommend) SIZE DOWN. This shirt is extremely oversized. I’m wearing a small and it fits like a large/x-large.

Last night on Clubhouse we talked about travel and Last night on Clubhouse we talked about travel and talking with fellow travelers reignited my wanderlust.

One of the questions asked, “Will travel ever return back to normal?”

I personally think travel will be 100x more popular. This pandemic continues to teach us how fragile life is and why it’s extremely important to live each day to the fullest (safely).

The airline industry is also changing and the ones that are able to proved a safe travel experience will come out on top.

I am personally waiting to get on any long haul flights. Until I’m ready, I’m enjoying exploring my city and looking forward to road trips 🤍

Sunday Adventures at Point Bonita Light House A Sunday Adventures at Point Bonita Light House

A quick drive over the Golden Gate Bridge, the Point Bonita Lighthouse is a must. The hike itself is only a mile from the car park and is pretty easy up&down.

Our hike started with a family of deer hesitant about crossing the path with people all around. As everyone stood frozen, the deer hopped over the fence and down the hill. This was my first time being so close to wild deer!

Even though the light house is closed due to Clovid, the walk is still worth it. On a good day you can see all the seals down below, they weren’t there today. There are a few benches along the hike where you can sit and take it allllll in 🤍

• What's taking up most of your headspace right now?
• How are you feeling mentally and physically?
• What are you grateful for right now?
• What are two words that describe you at the moment?

Here for cafe and Rosca! Feliz Dia de los Reyes! Here for cafe and Rosca!

Feliz Dia de los Reyes! Today celebrates the day the Three Wise Men (Los Tres Reyes Magos) gave gifts to Jesus Christ, and the day that ends Christmas festivities.

During Día de Los Reyes, we serve Rosca de Reyes, or King’s Cake. “Rosca” means wreath and “Reyes” means kings. The Rosca has an oval shape to symbolize a crown and has a small doll inside, which represents baby Jesus.

The doll figure in the cake symbolizes the hiding of the infant Jesus from King Herod’s troops. Roscas are traditionally decorated with dried and candied fruits to symbolize the many jewels that a crown would have.

The person who gets the slice with the doll must host a party!

Last year many of you enjoyed the Rosca cutting process with my Delta coworkers. It was exciting to see who was going to get the baby Jesus! Shoutout to @lelenitas_cakes for the beautiful Rosca yet again!!
