A taste of Paris in San Francisco, California.
Enjoy a mini travel guide of Parisian inspired travel through art and delicacies that will make you feel like you’ve teleported to Paris, France.
Where to eat:
Grande Crêperie
Located in the Ferry Building, a traditional crêperie serving savory and sweet crêpes made from local farmer’s market ingredients.
Maison Nico
Located in the Financial District, this french-inspired market and café is open for coffee, pastries, sophisticated French pâtés and quiche, wine and more. I love this bakery and more so their pastries and quiche. Anything you choose is the right choice.

Côte Ouest Bistro
Located in Cow Hollow on Baker St. this french restaurant will make you feel like you’ve instantly stepped into France. The owners are from France and the menu is the most authentic I’ve seen. From escargot (dinner menu) to the croissant french toast (brunch menu) everything is delicious. I tried pate for the first time here, paired with wine – it was a delicious experience.

Paris staples found in San Francisco:
The Louvre
A mini replica can be found at the Legion of Honor and is free to the public.

Arc de Triomphe
The grand arch can be found in two locations; The Palace of Fine Arts and at the Legion of Honor. The Palace of Fine Arts has a similar wow-factor like the Arc de Triomphe due to how grand the arch is. If you’re looking for the exact replica, the entrance to the Legion has the mini replica.

French Art
Similar to the Louvre museum, the Legion houses art by Monet, Van Gogh and many more. Each room is it’s own experience, my favorite being the Salon Doré, a mini Palace of Versaille.

French inspired streets
Located in the French Quarter on Bush and Grant St. you will find French inspired bars, cafes, restaurants and alleyways that make you feel like you’re walking down narrow streets in Paris.

End your day watching the lights on the Bay Bridge light up the evening sky. Close your eyes and pretend you are watching the Eiffel Tower glitter throughout the night. Nothing can beat the real Paris experience but how lucky are we to have a taste of Paris located in San Francisco, CA.
